Goodbyes Are Hard But
Change Is Good

Knowing that our lease was up for renewal, Marty and I were faced with the decision of 'do we continue' or 'do we close up'. We both thought about it individually before talking about it together. When we both decided seperately that it was time to move on, we knew what we had to do next. This has not been an easy decision for us by any means, but it was the best one for us and our family. The stress of running a competitive volleyball club on its own is a lot to handle. Then you add 3 young kids at home, my health issues, and both of us working other jobs during the day - something had to give. I am sure there are many rumors that will spread as to why we closed, but it really is simple... we just decided it was time. We are not moving, we are not going bankrupt, we are not seperating or divorcing, we are not being forced to quit - we are doing this on our terms.

I want to say thank you to all of the people who have made Club 5280 Volleyball their home at some point in the past 5 years. From players to coaches to parents, we have been very blessed. Some of the friendships we have developed will stand the test of time. I also wanted to thank the RMR for all of their leadership and support over the years.

Marty will be continuing on in the volleyball arena by coaching with CVA. This way he will be able to still do what he loves to do without the added stress of running a club as well. So we will be seeing people around I am sure.

It has been a wild ride since we decided to start a club over 5 years ago - one that we will never forget. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Sincerely, Tiffany Larson
(Club Director)
